Anyone have crazy parents like mine?

OK, i am not a child any longer, but i wanted to know, if anyone else has/had parents like mine. When i was around 14-17, i remember my parents had NO respect for privacy. Example: i was allowed to have my door closed, but NEVER locked. There was a couple times i had the door locked, when my dad went to go in my room (without knocking of course) he seen it was locked, and started pounding on the door, until it broke open. He then took my door off the hinges, and i had no door for like 3 months. Just had a sheet hanging there..also, if we ate the wrong food, at the wrong time (like eating cereal at dinner time) He would flip out, and throw all the boxes of cereal over the fence, into the field behind our house. He would always say things like " This is MY HOUSE!! I dont want any locked doors!" And was always reinforcing the point, that i didnt have ****, not a pot to piss in, and everything i had, was really his. Like the tv in my room, was his, hell even my comic books were his, as far as he was concerned. So, is that normal for most kids that age?
