What extent do you think the power of the US Supreme Court in recent decades has been good or bad for in USA?

In Federalist #78, Alexander Hamilton predicted that the US Supreme Court might be the weakest of the three branches of government. Few people today would agree with that essment, partly because the Court adopted one of Hamilton’s remedies, the power to do judicial review of federal laws. To what extent do you think the strength of the US Supreme Court in recent decades has been good or bad for the United States?
